Hi, I’m Rhona Lynch – a criminal defence lawyer based in Paisley, Glasgow Scotland.
A graduate of Strathclyde University, Rhona joined Tod and Mitchell in 1993 and completed her legal training there.
She has chosen to specialise in criminal law and with 23 years experience she is a very able and tenacious criminal court lawyer. She has a wide experience of conducting sheriff and jury trials and summary trials in the Sheriff and Justice of the Peace court and throughout her career she has been extensively involved in defending clients who have been prosecuted in the High Court of Justiciary.
She has represented a large number of clients at parole tribunals and in particular has been successful in achieving parole for two clients serving life sentences for murder in two separate high profile cases.
Rhona has a particular interest in youth crime and has a proven track record of working with young people who have been involved in the care system. Her friendly and down to earth manner makes her very approachable and supportive to young people who find themselves at the mercy of the criminal justice system.
Rhona is a meticulous and eloquent pleader and has saved many a client from custody due to her carefully pitched and emotive pleas in mitigation.
